Snoring Headgear

I thought an interesting point of discussion would be the snoring headgear. I happen to be a big fan of this type of item, but I know many people don't like it. The idea of wearing something on your head while you're sleeping isn't the most appealing image people see for themselves. I like to think of it as something you do for those around you, like your spouse that has to listen to your snoring all night long. There are a lot of snoring aids on the market and it isn't too often that you run into one that is actually going to work for you, so take advantage of it.

The particular snoring headgear that I'm talking about is the jaw supporter. This is a really simple device that helps to control the position of your jaw. Essentially when you're snoring, your jaw is sagging down and pressuring the throat area. When the jaw is supported while you sleep it actually keeps it off the throat and stops the snoring sounds immediately.

The way that this would work is that you're going to have something wrap around your chin and the top of your head. This way it can hold the jaw in an upright position while you sleep. And when you have it in an upright position you're not going to experience the sagging, which leads to pressure on the throat. I wish the solution to this problem was more complicated, so I could make it sounds better. But it is really that simple and that is how the snoring headgear works.

I have to say that you're probably not going to run into a jaw supporter at a store. I can't say that I've seen any of them, so I ordered mine off the internet. I was able to get a really good one and it has stopped my snoring. I put a link below that will take you to the exact one that I got and you can see if this is something that you would like.
